By submitting a booking form, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the below Terms and Conditions on this page:
Charges

A call-out fee of $120 plus GST applies to all service or breakdown requests.

Hourly labour rates are charged at $150 plus GST per hour, with a minimum charge of 1 hour per call-out.

Additional labour beyond the first hour will be charged in increments of 30 minutes at $75 plus GST.
Terms and Conditions of Booking a Service or Breakdown with Arctic Air - The Coolest Air in Town
Call-Out Fees and Charges

A call-out fee of $120 plus GST applies to all service or breakdown requests and must be paid upfront.

Hourly labour rates are charged at $150 plus GST per hour, with a minimum charge of 1 hour per call-out, even if the technician’s work is completed in less than an hour.

Additional labour beyond the first hour will be charged in increments of 30 minutes at $75 plus GST.
Payment Terms

Prepayment is required: The call-out fee and minimum labour charge (1 hour) totalling $297 inclusive of GST must be paid in full before a technician is dispatched to your site.

Payment options include bank transfer an Invoice will be send once booking is made with payment details

Additional charges for parts, extra labour, or any other unforeseen costs will be invoiced separately and must be paid on completion of works.
Cancellation Policy

Cancellations before dispatch: If you cancel before the technician is dispatched, your payment will be refunded minus a cancellation fee of $75.

Cancellations after dispatch but before arrival: If you cancel after the technician is on their way but before arrival, you will forfeit the full payment of $297 (inclusive of GST).

No-show or refusal of service on-site: If the technician arrives at the site and is unable to access the property or the service is declined, the payment will not be refunded, and additional fees may apply for rescheduling.
Additional Fees

Any additional charges (e.g., parts, additional hours, travel to remote areas) will be communicated and invoiced separately.

Payment for these additional charges is required within 14 days of invoicing. Late payments will incur a 1.5% surcharge per day after the due date.
Agreement to Terms of Service

By booking a service or breakdown call with Arctic Air - The Coolest Air in Town, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of these terms and conditions.

You agree to pay all charges, including any additional fees incurred during the service.

Failure to adhere to these terms may result in the suspension of future services or legal action to recover unpaid fees.
Service Guarantee and Exclusions

Arctic Air guarantees the quality of its workmanship but is not liable for pre-existing faults, damages caused by the customer, or issues arising from poor system maintenance prior to our service.

Any additional work identified during the call-out will only be undertaken with the customer’s written approval. Additional charges will apply for these services.
General Conditions

Call-outs are charged at a minimum of 1 hour. This policy applies even if the inspection or repair is completed in less time.

Arctic Air reserves the right to refuse service if payment is not received or if the conditions on-site are unsafe for the technician.

Technicians will perform all services professionally and to the best of their ability. If parts are required that are not immediately available, Arctic Air will communicate a timeline for completion.
Rescheduling Terms and Conditions
Notice Period for Rescheduling

Rescheduling a booked service or breakdown appointment must be requested with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled date and time.

Requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a rescheduling fee of $75.
Rescheduling Fees

Before 24 Hours Notice: Rescheduling requests made more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment will not incur any additional fees.

Within 24 Hours Notice: Rescheduling within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will result in a fee of $75.

On-Site Rescheduling or No-Show: If the technician arrives on-site and the appointment needs to be rescheduled, the full payment of $297 (inclusive of GST) will be forfeited, and a new booking fee will be required for the rescheduled appointment.
Payment for Rescheduling

Any fees associated with rescheduling must be paid in full before a new appointment can be confirmed.

Payments for additional charges (e.g., labour or parts) from the initial service must also be settled before rescheduling.
Technician Availability

Rescheduled appointments are subject to technician availability. Arctic Air will make every effort to accommodate the customer’s preferred date and time but cannot guarantee immediate availability.

If a mutually agreeable time cannot be scheduled, Arctic Air reserves the right to issue a refund minus applicable fees or recommend another service provider.
Agreement to Terms

By rescheduling your appointment with Arctic Air - The Coolest Air in Town, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Failure to adhere to these terms may result in the forfeiture of any prepaid amounts and cancellation of future services.
